چکیده
Primary immunodeficiencies (PID) are genetically determined irreversible disorders of structure and/or functions the immune system's cellular and humoral components, accompanied by frequent infectious diseases contributing to development malignant neoplasms. Lymphomas most oncological disease in PID patients: non-Hodgkin's lymphomas occur 60 % neoplasms cases, Hodgkin lymphoma - 20 %, leukemias 10 solid tumors %. The risk lymphoproliferative patients amounts 4-25 with overall incidence cancer 100-200 times higher than immunocompetent population. Results treatment children remain unsatisfactory due high rate relapsed, refractory anticancer therapy complications. Lymphomas are solid tumors of immune system and Non-Hodgkin Lymphomas (NHL) is the most prevalent lymphomas; with wide ranges of histological and clinical features, it is so difficult to identify them. Herein, various bioinformatics tools (such as gene differential expressions, epigenetics and protein analysis) employed to find new treatment approach for NHL based on gene expression variation b...
متن کاملEvolving approaches to primary treatment of Hodgkin lymphoma.
Two challenges confront the clinician treating Hodgkin lymphoma today: achieving a high level of effectiveness while minimizing toxicity. At least 80% of patients can be cured with currently available chemotherapy regimens, augmented in selected patients with the addition of involved field radiation or intensified chemotherapy assisted by granulocyte growth factors or stem cell transplantation....
متن کاملTreatment of Newly Diagnosed and Relapsed Hodgkin Lymphoma in Children
Hodgkin lymphoma (HL) accounts for about 10% of all childhood cancers. Five-year survival rates with modern therapies are now approaching >90-95% as a consequence of its significant sensitivity to both chemotherapy and radiation. The current challenge is to determine how much therapy is needed to improve survival and how to adapt treatment to the patient to prevent these long term toxicities. T...
